Dr. Marios Samanis is a cybersecurity researcher specializing in operational technology (OT) security, cyber-physical systems, and industrial control environments. He earned his PhD in Cyber Security from the University of Bristol, where his research focused on improving cybersecurity practices in complex operational environments, particularly incident response and security operations in industrial and critical infrastructure systems.

He holds a Master’s degree in Communication Networks and Systems Security and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His work combines expertise in networking, IoT systems, and cybersecurity to address emerging security challenges in industrial and critical infrastructure contexts. His research interests include OT security, incident response methodologies, and the protection of cyber-physical and industrial systems.
